Justin Grobe
Assistant Professor of Pharmacology, The University of Iowa

Dr. Grobe’s research is focused on mechanisms of neural control of cardiovascular and metabolic function, with a particular interest in the brain renin-angiotensin system, vasopressin and sympathetic nervous system. His research findings have implications for understanding the pathogenesis of obesity, obesity-associated hypertension, and the pregnancy-related hypertensive disorder preeclampsia. He has served on AHA committees; is grant reviewer for AHA and American Diabetes Association; and is a recipient of several prestigious awards.
